We have been outside using the new playground markings as part of our Maths lessons. We can use the numbers to add, take away and multiply.
Year 4 have been busy learning about the novel ‘The Sheep-Pig’ by Dick King-Smith. We are also developing our reading comprehension to ensure we understand what we have read.
Our school have pledged to become a reading school. We are tying to read our class novel, ‘The Sheep-Pig’ by Dick King-Smith in as many places as we can around school. Here we are in the school library.
In topic this half term is ‘Passport to Europe’. Here we are painting flags from different countries in Europe in preparation for our class assembly on Wednesday 25th April. We hope you can come!
Our PE days are a Tuesday and a Wednesday (with Mr Grime). Please make sure that the children have the correct PE kit in school. PE kits should be named. Jewellery (watches and earrings) must not be worn for PE.
Friday is our homework day! Spellings and a piece of English or Maths are given every Friday for the following Friday.
Reading books should be brought into school every day. Please read at home every night.
Our school library day is now on a Friday. Remember the more library books you read, the more raffle tickets you will get to be entered into our school draw to win a prize.
