Worship Ambassadors

Year 6

Each new academic year pupils put forward why they would like to be part of the Worship Ambassadors, and are then selected or voted on to serve for the whole year. We are supported by Mrs Cheung and meet with her regularly. Our Worship Ambassadors wear an alternative jumper so that the pupils know who they are.

Their role is to:

• Help the school evaluate collective worship annually
• Find ways to develop school’s Christian character
• Support our school as we learn and live out our values of Faith, Family and Friendship
• Be responsible setting up the school hall for Collective Worship every morning
• Lead worship with music, singing, drama, prayers and biblical stories
• Have regular meetings, every fortnight, to discuss Christian Values and plan for next steps for the Ambassadors incl
• Deliver one Collective Worship a term by the Ambassadors
• Support worship in Church at key events of the year – Christmas, Easter and End of School Year
• Design and support the school with Class Prayer boxes.
• Introduce God's Big Question to the staff and children each half term.
